Odyssey was appointed by the major shareholder to raise private equity to recapitalise the business and to fund growth opportunities in Australia and internationally

Prior to this appointment, Odyssey had completed work for the company and was re-engaged to raise private equity due to its previous good working relationship with the client

The project was comprehensive in scope and took six months to complete, as it involved working with management to develop the business plan and to prepare a financial model to analyse various scenarios on performance before preparing an information memorandum and approaching potential investors

The equity was raised at a base valuation which was attractive to shareholders and included a structure that provided management with a significant incentive to grow and to improve the performance of the business
